Return and Exchange Policy

We do not issue refunds. We will only allow exchanges within 14 days from date received and you will be responsible for shipping cost on items you’d like to exchange. Gift cards, Jewelry, Bags, Handbags, Custom orders, Pre-orders, Sale items, Clearance items are not returnable or exchangeable.

Item(s) can be returned for store credit only if they are:

– Unwashed.

– Include the original printed receipt or proof of purchase.

– No visible signs of wear or use including deodorant or makeup.

– All garments must be in the original condition that you received it, no torn or damaged clothing.

– Footwear should have no scuff marks on its outsole.

How to ask for an exchange:

If you need an exchange, send us an email at contact@balamil.com and request our approval. Do not ship your ítem without our approval, returns without approval will be refused. Once we approve your return we will provide you the shipping address.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs. Return shipping will be paid at the customers expense and will be required to arrange their own shipping. Once the returned item(s) arrive, Balamil will review your order for exchange eligibility and reserves the right to deny an exchanges if items are in bad condition such as damaged clothing and stains. If we made a shipping error, please send it back to us and shipping costs will be refunded from your order.

Damages & Issues 

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges (no refunds)

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your items, and will let you know if the you were approved for our online store credit. The best way to ensure you’ve received store credit through our gift cards is to provide a correct and reliable email address. Upon approval, you will receive a unique code you’ll be able to provide during checkout.

Cancellation

Orders cannot be cancelled after 24 hours. Cancellation does not apply if order was already sent out and tracking has been provided. Please be sure of your purchase so that you do not stumble upon issues such as missing your cancellation date or wanting to cancel once order was shipped.

Balamil is a small business with a small team handling online. We work with artisans directly in different states in Mexico. Items are all handmade and most importantly, unique, two products of the same class may differ slightly in embroidered patterns or colors. Please keep this in mind when purchasing and expect variations from our online catalog.
